A longer, unhurried expedition aboard a refined small ship, with four itineraries spanning the north, south, east and west of the archipelago — more time in every anchorage to observe, wait and understand.
Galápagos Redefined was founded to redefine how the islands are experienced: through knowledge and genuine expertise, not simple sightseeing. Our naturalists were born in the archipelago and have spent more than 35 years guiding travelers through it — and they accompany you whichever vessel you choose.

Most onboard guides follow a well-worn commentary. Ours grew up on these islands and read them the way only a lifetime allows — the behaviour behind a sighting, the season behind a landscape.

The ship sets the standard of comfort; our guides set the standard of understanding. The same naturalist expertise travels with you across our entire collection.

By traveling with us, listening to our guides and reading their book, our guests take part in the effort to conserve these endemic islands. Understanding is where protection begins.
Expedition cruises, private day expeditions, highland journeys and dives — a lifetime spent guiding and understanding the Galápagos.
Our relationship with these islands is not something learned from a guidebook. It is part of our lives.
We select only vessels that meet our standard of comfort, intimacy and service — and pair them with our own naturalist expertise.
Families, photographers, divers, first-time visitors: guests from all over the world, each journey adapted to its travelers.
Wildlife, ecosystems, geology and evolution — the only book on the islands written by a naturalist born here is our guides' own.
Through our foundation and every journey we curate, understanding the Galápagos becomes the first step toward protecting them.
“We didn't simply see the Galápagos — we understood them. What made this expedition extraordinary was the depth of knowledge behind every encounter. Our guide didn't simply show us animals; he explained their behavior, the history of the islands and the extraordinary forces that shaped this ecosystem. We left with the feeling that we had truly understood the Galápagos.”Claire & Thomas, France
“The knowledge behind every encounter was remarkable. We have travelled to many wildlife destinations, but this was different. The experience felt deeply personal. Our guide seemed to know exactly where to look and, just as importantly, when to wait. Every animal encounter became a story, not just a photograph.”Michael R., United States
“An expedition rather than a simple cruise. From the moment we stepped aboard, everything felt carefully considered. The boat was comfortable and elegant, but what made the journey exceptional was the knowledge of the people guiding us. We learned about the wildlife, the currents, the geology and the history of the islands every day.”Sophie M., Switzerland
“A completely different perspective on the Galápagos. What we appreciated most was the authenticity. This was not simply a predefined tourist experience. We felt that we were travelling with people who genuinely knew these islands and cared deeply about sharing them with us.”James & Emma, United Kingdom
“The Galápagos through the eyes of people who know them. The wildlife was extraordinary, but the stories behind it were what we will remember. Understanding why species evolved here, how the ocean currents shape the ecosystem and how each island is different completely changed the way we experienced the journey.”Anna K., Germany
Luxury in the Galápagos carries a responsibility. We work hand in hand with the institutions that safeguard the archipelago, so that every journey we curate supports the islands it reveals.
Every one of our naturalists is certified by the Park, which safeguards 97% of the archipelago's land.
One of the largest marine protected areas on Earth — the waters every itinerary explores.
The research station behind decades of Galápagos science and the giant tortoise breeding programs.
Long-standing support for tortoise restoration and island ecosystem recovery.
